From A Great Farm To A Great Brand.
The task at hand was clear – how do you make a farm brand feel premium without losing sight of where they come from?
Vana Nature Farms grows local and exotic varieties of mangoes and dates on its own 70-acre farm near Tirupati, with plans to expand into other fruits. The challenge was to build a brand that could command a premium while still feeling unmistakably connected to the land.
From the name and identity to packaging, digital and communication, we set off to build the brand from the ground up.
THE APPROACH
We started with the name. Vana, meaning forest in Sanskrit, gave the brand an immediate connection to nature while reflecting its origins
Visually, earthy greens and browns brought the farm, the soil, and the produce in, while lavender introduced an unexpected touch of sophistication. At the centre of the identity was a distinctive brand mark – an abstract tree that also forms a canopy, representing nature, growth and shelter.
Rather than dressing agriculture up as luxury, the idea was to let the quality, provenance and care behind the produce be the luxury that the brand has to offer.
The identity was carried across every consumer touchpoint — from individual fruit and date boxes to premium gifting, stationery, the Shopify website and social communication.
The result was a brand that could sit comfortably in two worlds.
Grounded enough to feel like it came from a farm.
Refined enough to sell what came from it at a premium.
Vana Nature Farms didn’t need to look imported to feel exclusive. Its own story: 70 acres near Tirupati, carefully cultivated produce, and a more considered approach to farming, gave the brand everything we needed to build a premium Indian farm brand.
